Suspect Wanted in a Burglary One and Second Degree Sexual Abuse Offense: 1300 Block of 30th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sexual Assault Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in connection with a Burglary One and Second Degree Sexual Abuse offense that occurred on Friday, August 30, 2019, in the 1300 block 30th Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 1:30 am, the suspect gained entry to a private residence. Once inside, the suspect sexually assaulted a female victim. The suspect then fled the scene.

 

The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Bertrand Joseph Lebeau. He is described as a black male with bald or short hair, and a muscular build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt. He may be operating a black 2017 Honda CRV with DC tags FL5215.

 

He is currently wanted on a DC Superior Court arrest warrant for Second Degree Sexual Abuse.  Lebeau and the vehicle can been seen in the photos below:
