DC Councilmember Vincent Orange invites you to the District of Columbia Emancipation Day 150th Anniversary Opening Ceremony and to March Through the Monuments. Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, Mayor Vincent Gray, Chairman Kwame Brown, Rev. Al Sharpton, Civil Rights Activist Dick Gregory, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, DC Vote Ilir Zherka, former Congresswoman Connie Morella, MLK Foundation CEO Harry E. Johnson, Sr., and former Mayor Sharon Pratt along with other national and community leaders, and District Reisdents will participate in the DC Emancipation Day 150th Anniversary March Through the Monuments opening ceremony.    Programming at each site:  Lincoln Memorial @ 2pm; Jefferson Memorial @ 3pm; Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial @ 4pm; Martin L.. King, Jr. Memorial @ 5pm.
