Dr. Patricia Elwood is a Ward 3 resident with more than 40 years of professional experience. Dr. Elwood holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University, a Master of Arts degree from Boston University and a PhD. from the University of Maryland. She spent 31 years in the Prince George's County Public School System, where she worked as a curriculum writer, specialist and teacher for students with learning and hearing disabilities. Dr. Elwood began her career in the District under Mayor Anthony Williams.
